As Sally walked into the new project, she was thrilled to have a blank canvas to work with for her clients interior design dreams. She was particularly drawn to the timeless elegance of the architecture of the home and colonial Style, with its rich history and charming aesthetic.
Sally eagerly set out to incorporate this style into the home decor, carefully selecting furniture pieces and accessories that reflected the choices and personality of the clients desire for a classic colonial style. She chose a stunning feature antique rattan armchair with a plush cushions, a beautiful hand crafted teak coffee table, and traditional limited edition Fauna prints to hang on the walls.
As she worked on the decor, Sally couldn't help but think of a quote from the famous British artist William Morris, who once said, "Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful."
With this quote in mind, Sally carefully worked with the client to source and curate every piece in the home, ensuring that it was not only beautiful but also functional. She chose curtains made of light, airy italian spun fabrics that allowed the sunlight to filter through, and a classic wooden dresser that offered ample storage space.
Finally, Sally added a touch of whimsy with some decorative items that brought the colonial theme to life. A collection of vintage maps, an antique compass, and some charming botanical prints all helped to create an atmosphere of adventure and exploration.
As the client stood back and admired the end result, she felt proud of the beautiful and functional space that had been created. The Adventurer Colonial Style had provided her with a framework that allowed her to express her personality and modern style while honoring classic elegance.
Sally smiled as she recalled another quote from the famous English poet John Keats, "A thing of beauty is a joy forever." She knew that the home decor would bring the client and family joy for years to come.
In the end, Manach Interiors embrace of Antique, Eclectic and British Colonial Style had not only created a beautiful home but also a space that reflected the clients love of history, travel, and adventure.
